We are a 35 strong mixed voice chamber choir (SATB) founded in 1972 and based in Northwich, Mid Cheshire.  We meet weekly for rehearsals in Northwich Methodist Church on Witton Street, on Tuesdays at 7.45pm.  Our repertoire is diverse and extends from the 16th to the 21st centuries and includes both sacred and secular items, both serious and light hearted.  Anything from a Requiem Mass to “When the Saints, go Marching in”!

Concert performances are given in churches and halls throughout the Vale Royal area of Cheshire – and sometimes further afield – in aid of churches and other charitable organisations.  There are usually 6 or 7 concerts a year and, in addition, in the Christmas period we also perform carols and other Christmas music at various informal venues, both outdoors and indoors.

In our concerts we are often joined by local soloists who perform a range of contrasting solos, and sometimes join us for ensemble items. 

We are a very friendly choir and are always looking to recruit new members – especially tenors and basses!  There is no audition for membership and we are happy to welcome new members preferably, but not essentially, with some experience and music reading ability.  We perform to high but not intimidating standards. You are assured of a very warm welcome.
